The following groups and programs offer opportunities for people to enjoy fellowship with one another, to grow spiritually, and to serve within and beyond the parish community.

Sunday School:
Our classes run from Pre-school (age 3) through High School, meeting after the 9:15 service. We use the Episcopal edition of the David C. Cook “Bible in Life” curriculum.

Youth Groups:
Our Junior Youth Group (grades 6-8) meets during the Sunday School period, for learning, fellowship, and service. Special events may extend beyond that time or be scheduled at another time. The Senior Youth Group (grades 9-10) is a joint group with the youth of the Presbyterian Church. It meets from 5:30 to 7:00 on Sunday evenings, with special events at other times as announced.

Children’s Church:
We offer a special program of worship for children ages 3-8. Songs, prayers, lessons, etc. are used appropriate to the age of this treasured group. We want them to know that praising God is fun! Children begin in the “Big Church,” processing out early in the service, and returning in time for the Communion portion of the worship.

Adult Forum:
Following Coffee Hour, from 10:45 to 11:30, a group meets for programs or studies from a Christian perspective.

Prayer Chain:
Facing problems or illness? A group of people will pray for you or your loved one, starting with one telephone call to the rector.

Choir:
The Adult Choir enriches our worship with a variety of styles of music. Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:00.

Junior Choir:
Open to children in grades 3-8, this enthusiastic group of musicians rehearses on Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:00.

Altar Guild:
A group of parishioners who prepare the Church for weekly worship and special services. Each team of two or three serves about once a month.

Lay Readers:
These members of our community read the Scripture lessons, lead the prayers, and serve the Cup at Communion.

Acolytes:
Youth in grades 7-12 (and sometimes older) who add to our worship by leading the procession with the cross, lighting the candles, and otherwise assisting the clergy.

Daughters of the King:
This Religious Order is a group of women who take vows of study, prayer and service for the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom. Trinity’s Lydia Chapter meets regularly for fellowship and Bible study, and carries out a variety of service projects for the parish, and beyond the parish.

Junior Daughters of the King:
Open to girls 8 and older, this group also participates in study, prayer, and service to reveal the love of Christ to others.

Alpha, Jubilee, Faith Alive:
Alpha is a ten-week course in the essentials of the Christian faith, assuming no knowledge to begin with, but offering great experience and knowledge. Jubilee and Faith Alive are weekend programs (Jubilee is held at a retreat center) to experience and learn more about what it means to follow Christ in these days. Jubilee is held twice a year; Alpha at least once a year, and Faith Alive at various intervals.
